Please state the reason for the request. External requests - please send a control sample from a normal caucasian female bled at the same time as the patient. External requests must use the Great Ormond Street G6PD request form. Please note that we are temporarily unable to offer the G6PD assay as a routine test, however the G6PD screen is still available. There is currently a limited supply of reagent, due to a problem with manufacture. If you require a G6PD assay, please discuss with the laboratory before taking the sample.
